| Beschreibung | In this day and age, higher education institutions are expected to provide multiperspective and global education and equip students with 21st Century skills. As academics we face the challenge of integrating such outcomes in our courses. To this end, it is important that we are supported in the endeavour of offering an internationalised curriculum that caters for such goals. In this hands-on workshop, we will explore different approaches and rationales of internationalisation which will provide a framework for participants to map and share their practices. The programme logic model will be applied to curriculum design under the principle of constructive alignment and in the context of an internationalised curriculum in which the focus is on internationalising learning outcomes. Finally, we will reflect on the didactics of the international classroom and identify strategies which can be applied to capitalise on culturally diverse groups. Participants are advised to take the syllabus/guide of a module/course they teach to the workshop. |
