Bachelor’s degree programmes are undergraduate courses of study leading to a first level of professional qualification. In these courses, students acquire basic subject-related knowledge and methodical skills as well as a general overview of their chosen field of study. According to Article 19, Paragraph 2, HRG (Framework Act for Higher Education), the regular period of study for Bachelor’s degree programmes is a minimum of three and a maximum of four years. Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree can be followed by a consecutive or interdisciplinary Master’s degree programme.
