Friedrich Naumann Foundation (self-portrayal)

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation is the foundation for liberal politics in the Federal Republic of Germany. It aims to promote the principle of freedom in human dignity in all areas of society, both in Germany and abroad.

What is expected of scholarship recipients?
The Foundation expects a lively interest in politics from its scholarship holders. They are under obligation to take part in at least two seminars of several days held by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom or by liberal state organisations every year. They are also required to keep in touch with the liaison lecturers at their university on a regular basis.
Scholarship recipients are expected to pass their degree examinations within the regular period of study and with clearly above-average grades.
Moreover, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom hopes for community spirit, mutual support and continued solidarity from its “alumni”.
