The direct funding of our doctoral and postdoctoral members is an important focus of our work. Our concern is to support PhD students through short time grants and grants for their professional development, as well as in establishing academic networks.
The Executive Committee of the GSGG decides on the awarding of these grants quarterly, following a competitive application procedure. Additionally, the Christian-Gottlob-Heyne-Preis is awarded annually for the best dissertation in the Humanities of the past year.
Please note: The number of grants awarded quarterly as well as the amount of allowances is dependent on the budget situation of GSGG.
